Welcome to the Equipop resource center!
This center complements the many spaces that bring together resources on feminist thinking and action in foreign policy and international solidarity.
It was created to meet several specific needs within the French-speaking world:
– accelerate the integration of feminist approaches in the field of foreign policy and international solidarity
– strengthen ties between actors in international solidarity and human rights defenders
– Offer support to associations, networks, and institutions as they move toward feminist approaches.
More broadly, it is part of a collective effort to strengthen policies and practices promoting international solidarity and combating global inequalities, at a time when anti-rights movements are directly attacking the very essence of these sectors.
Who is it for?
The site is designed to serve actors interested in international solidarity and human rights who want to learn about feminist approaches, explore ideas in this field, and contribute to the debate.
We therefore invite representatives of associations and networks to use these resources, as well as researchers, representatives of institutions, and funders. Journalists will also find useful content here.
What we offer
As this Resource Center aims to stimulate, facilitate, and support reflection among actors in the fields of international solidarity and human rights, it is organized in such a way as to sharpen a politicized vision of these sectors around two issues: deconstructing the underlying power relations in our areas of intervention, and (re)building egalitarian policies and practices, between co-construction and the risk of instrumentalizing feminist approaches. The challenge remains to reconcile the diversity of approaches with the power of collective action.
The available content provides a foundation that can be supplemented by support in strategic and operational planning for associations, networks, or institutions. Equipop's advocacy expertise can also be called upon to lead joint discussions or actions.
