Find out more about Equipop
Equipop is driven by feminist values and a vision of a world where all human beings, regardless of their sex and gender, have their rights respected, including their sexual and reproductive rights, and have the opportunity to participate actively in just and sustainable societies. sustainable societies.
This vision and these values are reflected in Equipop's actions, which combine social and political mobilization, project engineering, knowledge production, and financial and technical support for partner associations and feminist activists.
Contributing to translocal collective action and providing flexible, long-term support for activists and associations are priorities for action.
Social creativity, partner support and collective learning dynamics thus play an important role in the structure's overall strategy and projects.
Equipop is a feminist international solidarity association.
A vision
A world where all women and girls have their rights respected, including their sexual and reproductive rights, and have the opportunity to participate actively in humane, just and sustainable development.
A mission
Equipop's mission is to promote
the health and rights of women and girls worldwide. In West Africa, the MENA region and Europe, we work with associations and activists mobilized in several territories.
Our actions

Impulse
Working in partnership with local players to drive social change at different territorial levels, and contributing to the production and dissemination of knowledge by linking activism, research and advocacy.

MOBILIZE
Mobilize political leaders and citizens to defend women's rights, and more broadly to ensure that feminist approaches inform the construction of our societies.

EMPOWER
Reinvigorate activists and associations by supporting them financially and technically, amplifying their voices and strengthening transnational collective action.
Our feminist principles
Equipop has a long-standing commitment to women's rights and health.
In 2005, the association included the gender approach in all its actions, actively participating in its promotion in the international solidarity milieu. In 2016, noting that the gender approach, once integrated by organizations and public authorities, often lost its transformative capacity, the political analysis of power relations and structures of domination often being relegated to the background, the association adopted a feminist vision. This vision is based on a number of convictions and principles.
Our finances
As a non-profit organization, we are committed to rigorous and transparent management of our budget in the eyes of our members, donors, public institutions and the general public.
At Equipop, we are committed to diversifying our sources of funding. This is vital if we are to gain the independence to launch new projects in the field, and to face up to the growing difficulty of finding funding.
Our annual accounts are audited and certified by a statutory auditor. In addition, the use of funds is regularly audited by our French, European and international donors (AFD, French Ministries, United Nations Agency, European Union, private foundations, etc.).
