– Tell me everything…, a campaign to raise awareness and promote the adoption of SRHR by everyone

SOS/JD, ASMADE, and MMF are launching the "Tell Me Everything..." campaign. This campaign is part of the "Sen Da Ya Foo" project and will run from October to December 2020 on the web and on the airwaves. Its objectives are to inform adolescents and young people about sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and to collect information on cases of violations of the reproductive health rights of adolescents and young people (SRAJ).

"Sen Da Ya Foo," translated into English as "What if it were you," is a project that aims to raise awareness about respecting the rights of young people and adolescents in terms of SR/FP, particularly their rights to access contraception, information, privacy, and GBV. This project, which began in December 2019, is being implemented in the Centre-West and Centre regions by the consortium of associations SOS/Jeunesse et Défis (SOS/JD), the association Songui Manégré/Aide au Développement Endogène (ASMADE) and Marche Mondiale des Femmes (MMF) with technical and financial support from Equipop. This project includes several activities, among which is the campaign #TellMeEverything....

Tell me everything... or Tell to save

Tell me everything... is a combination of a digital and radio campaign aimed at adolescents and young people. It aims to share best practices and information on SRHR in Burkina Faso with young people and to encourage them to speak up, so that they can share their stories and experiences in terms of access to information, the right to privacy, and gender-based violence. It thus aims to enable young people who are going through difficult times to find solutions to their problems, and those who have had positive experiences with SRHR to share them with their peers as examples. The campaign " Tell me everything... is taking place on social media (Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter) and on the radio. A program on each topic covered by the project will be broadcast on two radio stations: one in Ouagadougou in partnership with Wat.fm and the other in Koudougou with Radio Tilgré.

Data collection for advocacy

#Tell me everything... is a campaign that goes beyond providing information, raising awareness, or sharing experiences. It also involves collecting data from people who have been victims of or witnesses to situations of non-compliance with the right to access information, privacy, contraception, and gender-based violence, in order to inform advocacy efforts with the authorities. This action aims to make them aware of the realities faced by young people and encourage them to take concrete action to better respect the rights of young people and adolescents in terms of SRHR.
