– Launch of "Sexism, not our style": Equipop was there!

Laurence Rossignol, Minister for Families, Children, and Women's Rights, is launching a major campaign against sexism in partnership with numerous associations.

From September 8, 2016, to March 8, 2017, International Women's Rights Day, the government decided to take a stand against sexism with a campaign entitled: Sexism, not our style. As the minister pointed out, "sexism manifests itself in many ways, from the most seemingly innocuous to the most dramatic, from a simple remark to the most serious forms of violence." Whether at work, on the street, at school, in sports or in culture, sexism continues to harm girls and women.   Equipop supports this initiative, which is in line with its long-standing approach: because sexism is a pattern that can be found everywhere, Equipop is mobilized in France and West Africa and will contribute its expertise in the field on these issues. The team will therefore be involved in the awareness-raising events and demonstrations that will be organized in this context. #SexismNotOurStyle
