Equipop, a founding member of the Alliance Droits et Santé network in Burkina Faso, took part in the award ceremony for the best radio program produced on family planning for young people. For nearly two months, internet users were invited to vote for the best program produced in each country participating in the project. In Burkina Faso, Dieudonné Congo, from Savane FM radio, won the competition.

On Wednesday, March 13, at the Hôtel des Conférences in Ouagadougou, Alliance members co-organized the radio awards ceremony with the Ratanga Club. The ceremony brought together more than 30 people committed to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR): civil society organizations, youth ambassadors, and media journalists.
An opportunity to remobilize actors and actresses committed to this issue. Etienne Koula of the SOS/JD association thanked journalists for their commitment to promoting SRHR through the media. Nina Koné, Coordinator of CSOs 4 FP, presenting the award to the winner, praised "the synergy of the actions of organizations active in the field of SRHR in collaboration with men and women in the media."Dieudonné Congo, winner in Burkina Faso, said he was delighted to win the award and reiterated his commitment to continue producing programs on SRHR.

Now that the best programs have been selected, they will be widely broadcast on several radio stations in parallel with the Alliance's new campaign for Comprehensive Sexuality Education, which will begin at the end of 2019. This is one way of continuing to create an environment that is conducive to adolescent and young people's SRHR issues.
