– Equipop on RFI with the West African Delegation for Family Planning

On Friday, June 10, our West African delegation was invited to appear on Claire Hédon's program Priorité Santé on RFI, for a show dedicated to family planning in West Africa!

This broadcast followed the conference "Women's Empowerment and Demographics: Family Planning, a Key Issue for West Africa" organized by Equipop, in conjunction with the Ouagadougou Partnership and the Academy of Sciences. It was an opportunity to highlight successful initiatives in Niger, Benin, and Senegal, as well as France's role in development aid and access to contraception.

Roundtable discussion on the program:
•    Fatimata Sy, Director of the Dakar Partnership Coordination Unit in Senegal •    Aïssa Bouwaye, Director of the Maternal and Neonatal Health Unit of the West African Health Organization in Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso •    Elsa Burzynski, advocacy officer for Equipop, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso •    Idrissa Maiga, Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Health, in Niamey, Niger •    Romaric Ouitona, Youth Ambassador for Reproductive Health and Family Planning, Cotonou, Benin.
