The project
The SAFE project aims to strengthen prevention, protection, and support for victims and people threatened by two forms of gender-based violence—female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriage (FM)—through capacity building, community empowerment, awareness raising, and educational activities. The project also aims to enable communities to advocate for their concerns and needs at the political level. Equipop will implement the project in Paris and the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region.
