The project
This partnership between Campus Groupe AFD and Equipop is part of a shared vision of the need to disseminate alternative feminist thinking in order to transform dominant paradigms.
The objective of this partnership is to promote feminist approaches among stakeholders involved in the AFD Group Campus, as well as among the people targeted by the Campus's activities. It is structured around two components:
* Integrating feminist approaches into the AFD Group Campus's existing training offering, with a view to transformation;
* Contributing to the integration of feminist thinking into strategic reflection and dialogue on development and cooperation.
With this in mind, Equipop is involved in various activities within the Campus's key programs (PLAY, ATM, SIBC, IMPULSE!) to disseminate feminist questions and approaches. It also supports Campus teams in their reflective and strategic work on the challenges and means of integrating feminist approaches into their mission.
The methodological approach implemented consists of activating feminist approaches within the three levers of the Campus:
1 / Feminist approaches to learning something different
In this sense, feminist perspectives are used to critique concepts of "development" or "progress" and fuel alternative thinking by drawing on notions of power, care, etc.
2 / Feminist approaches to learning differently
Feminist popular education pedagogies are mobilized to operationalize the intention to learn differently, to reinforce the collective intelligence work widely carried out within the Campus by promoting self-reflexivity and the experiential knowledge of learners, and by promoting performative methods such as discussion groups.
3 / Feminist approaches to learning together
The activities undertaken aim to integrate feminist actors into the training design process as well as into the learning spaces. This diversity makes it possible to take into account the multitude of situated experiences, to listen to them, to recognize them, while seeking to build solidarity and a common vision.
