Background
Equipop is a feminist international solidarity organization that works to advance the rights of women and girls and to strengthen feminist movements in France and around the world.
Against a backdrop of declining public funding and a transformation of the international solidarity sector, Equipop is continuing its strategy to diversify its resources and is engaging in a broader reflection on the evolution of its socioeconomic model.
The internship will primarily contribute to this project, while also providing ad hoc support for resource mobilization activities.
The Resource Mobilization Assistant will report to the Head of Resource Mobilization and Accountability and will work in collaboration with the dedicated team, management, and the various departments within the organization.
Desired start date: December 2026
Missions
1. Contribute to the evolution of the socioeconomic model
The intern will focus in particular on helping to structure the business model for Equipop’s training, service delivery, and support activities:
- analyze and organize the various programs, their target audiences, and their implementation strategies;
- conduct benchmarking of business models, offerings, and pricing practices at comparable organizations;
- model the actual costs of activities, their pricing, margins, and break-even points;
- help develop development scenarios and management tools to assess the contribution of these activities to Equipop’s overall business model.
2. Help monitor opportunities and put together applications
For both calls for proposals and calls for bids, the intern will contribute to the various stages of resource mobilization:
- monitor the market and identify new funding and service delivery opportunities;
- analyze their relevance and alignment with Equipop’s priorities, areas of expertise, and intervention models;
- contribute to the development of new avenues for diversification and partnerships;
- help put together applications: drafting and proofreading proposals, developing and finalizing budgets, and preparing administrative documents;
- contribute to RETEX reports following responses—particularly negative ones—to our applications.
