Lucie joined Equipop in 2018, as an Advocacy Expert France and International. Based in Paris, she works closely with the teams in Ouagadougou and Dakar to implement Equipop’s advocacy strategy. Her mission is to lobby the French government, the European Union and the UN to promote SRHR – sexual and reproductive health and rights – and, more broadly, the adoption of feminist public policies. Its advocacy work consists of meeting, raising awareness and challenging decision-makers at all levels and in international bodies where France has a seat, such as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. She is also involved in the follow-up and animation of partnerships and associations and feminist groups at the French level. Before joining Equipop, Lucie was a project manager at Action contre la Faim (Chad, Djibouti and Madagascar), and previously in charge of the Innovation and Development project at the Family Planning Confederation (France).
